CAD Qualified Project Manager required for a well-established provider of fit-out solutions for multi-use sectors, specialising in the consultation, design, and installation of display equipment for global retailers and leisure industries. Working Monday to Friday on a permanent, full-time basis the role of Project Manager is offered up to £45,000 plus company car/car allowance, excellent employee benefits plus additional bonus scheme. The head office is located in the South, requiring weekly visits. Therefore, your location is flexible.
For this position, the client seeks a professional Project Manager who can demonstrate previous experience gained within the same sector and is suited to a candidate who has excellent customer-facing interpersonal skills and who can arrange and attend meetings with clients when discussing project requirements. Working in conjunction with the sales team, the customers and suppliers requires exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to produce complex information on a range of software including Outlook, Excel, and Word.Â
As Project Manager there is an expectation to collaborate confidently with CAD both 2D and 3D modelling, able to work from complex drawings whilst producing the necessary instructions for manufacture. Costing projects precisely and effectively is key to the success of this position, ensuring that the relevant materials, stock availability and build times meet the needs of the customer business schedules whilst ensuring a profitable return for the employer.Â
Due to the scope of customer locations, there is a requirement to travel to UK-wide projects, therefore this will be planned and executed in line with the wider team and subsequent business, ensuring that adequate time and preparation is accounted for. Whilst onsite you will be required to manage site labour, coordinate, and assess staffing levels and necessary skill sets plus the experience needed to complete each project in time, by cost and operationally.Â
