Summary

We’re looking for a part time Project Manager with significant experience of stakeholder management and grant management to lead for the Trent Sow Parklands Cannock Chase AONB HS2 Group supported by the National Trust. 

As Project Manager you will lead on managing the running of the Group and in particular administration of the £1.5m environmental enhancement fund being spent by Group members on environmental projects in the vicinity of the proposed route of Phase 2a of HS2.

Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office. However, there is flexibility on where you are based at other times. This will be discussed in more detail at interview. This role covers 7.5 hours per week. 

What you'll be doing

You’ll work closely with Group members to ensure £1.5m environmental enhancement fund is spent appropriately.

You’ll  work with Independent Chair to ensure smooth running of Group meetings, supporting and processing claims submitted by Group members as projects progress.

You will manage any risks arising, particularly in relation to project timelines and compliance with HS2 Ltd processes.

You’ll also capture learnings and advocating for this approach to delivering wider benefit through Major Infrastructure.

•a skilled communicator, with experience of managing complex and challenging situations with competing interests and a diverse range of people

•a leader for inclusion, who finds ways to create an inclusive culture

•you are adept at analytical thinking and able to identify and clearly report on the progress of projects, barriers to completion and changes required to maximise benefit.
