Thorn Baker is currently working with an award winning regional commercial contractor covering a variety of new build and Refurb projects across the South West. With a growing portfolio and 2025 looking like their busiest year yet they are looking for Contracts Managers to join them across the Swindon Region working on a variety of projects across Health care, Education and Commercial projects to name a few. Â

Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project strategy and delivery programme
- Ensure effective communication and implementation to deliver the project on time
- Ensure regular monitoring and reporting on progress, and instigate corrective actions as required
- Manage the operational aspects of the project to achieve the budget
- Review performance against targets
- Identify and manage potential risks and opportunities
- Manage project handover
- Lead and motivate the project teams and the supply chain to deliver the projects on time and within budget, to the highest quality.
Required Skills:
- SMSTS, First Aid at Work
- Experience working on similar Commercial projects.
- Strong Health and Safety Knowledge
- Computer literate and comfortable using a variety of IT packages.
- Experience working for a main contractor
