Exciting Global Software Business are looking for a Business Project Manager for a 12 month permanent opportunity to be the Project Manager for the Sales Team and work closely with the Chief Revenue Officer to deliver new initatives.

Please note this role will require going to the Swindon office a couple of times a month to see the CRO and some occasional travel to other UK based offices.

THE ROLE

  • Lead and manage projects and initiatives from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with the CRO's objectives and/or strategic delivery objectives as appropriate.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive programme and project plans aligned with organisational goals and objectives, working in collaboration with stakeholders to define scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Establish good governance structures and ensure adherence to project management methodologies, including regular project reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Allocate resources effectively and manage project budgets to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Communicate programme updates, milestones, and risks to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
  • Work with key stakeholders to build change management and engagement in to the heart of each project.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, clients, vendors, and senior management and executives.
  • Address stakeholder concerns and ensure alignment of expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members to maximise productivity and results.
  • Drive process optimisation initiatives and implement best practices to enhance programme efficiency and effectiveness.

YOU

The ideal Project Manager for the Sales Department will have prior experience of;

  • Have worked in a global and multi brand business
  • Have been a project manager in a sales department for an organisation.
  • Have experience of change management
  • Have stakeholder management experience from board level downwards
  • Good understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Proven experience to manage multiple projects simultaneously and be able to prioritise tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Can work in a fast paced and dynamic environment to be able to deliver projects in a timely and efficient manner.
