Omega is currently searching for a Credit Control Manager to join our Client in the Swindon area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual looking to take on a strategic leadership role within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities – Credit Control Manager

  • Manage and lead the credit control team, providing guidance, training, and support.
    • Conduct credit checks on new and existing clients, assessing creditworthiness and       determining appropriate credit limits.
    • Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth credit control operations, handling escalated issues and disputes.
    • Identify opportunities for process and system improvements to enhance efficiency.
    • Negotiate settlements with clients to resolve outstanding debts.
    • Prepare and present regular credit control performance reports to senior management.
    • Manage the department’s involvement in the annual financial audit.

Qualifications & Requirements – Credit Control Manager


• Professional certification in credit management (CICM) or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience within credit control, with direct experience in a managerial role.
• Strong understanding of credit control principles and practices.
• Ability to work effectively under deadlines and time-sensitive pressures.
• Proficient in credit control software and Microsoft Office applications.
