Digital Print Operator (Night Shift)
Swindon
Sunday - Thursday 10pm-6am
Salary up to 28k DOE - Raising to 30k after 3 months' probation
My client is a fast turnaround print company, who currently have a vacancy for a Digital Print Operator for the night shift, to join and strengthen their 24-hour print team.
You will have a passion for all things printing, an ability to think outside the box and problem solve where necessary, a get the job done attitude is highly sought after.
A keen eye for quality control, troubleshooting and time-management is necessary to achieve the production goals in this area.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Effectively running Canon IX in line with job specifications
- Ensure all work is produced to the highest quality standard, most efficiently and on time
- Ensure accuracy of job production
- Work to reduce reprints and wastage
- Achieve highest level of press 'uptime' and maintenance reporting
- Maintain the press room environment and presses to expected high level
- Ensure all reprints are recorded, monitored and reported
- Support the Digital Print Supervisor with general running and upkeep of the digital department.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Must Come from a digital print background
- Highly organised and great attention to detail
- Be n a commutable distance to Swindon
- Be flexible to work nights and overtime when needed
