Fire Door Engineer/Fitter
200 to 250 per day depending on experience

Our client is a leading provider of fire security solutions, dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of their clients' premises. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Security Door Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role is pivotal in maintaining, repairing, and installing fire security doors to the highest standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Install fire security doors according to industry standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on fire security doors, ensuring they are fully operational and compliant with safety regulations.
- Diagnose and repair any issues with fire security doors, including mechanical and electrical components.
- Recommend and implement upgrades to improve the safety and functionality of fire security doors.
- Ensure all work complies with current fire safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of all installations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain work performed and provide advice on maintaining fire security doors.
- Work closely with other engineers and team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in fire security door installation, maintenance, and repair.
- In-depth knowledge of fire safety regulations and standards related to fire security doors.
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical components of fire security doors.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel to various locations and work flexible hours as needed.
