Early Years & Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant / Classroom Support Assistant - SN1

My client is looking for two enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming and supportive school community. In this role, you’ll make a real difference by helping children with additional needs thrive, while working in a beautiful, nature-focused learning environment that prioritizes well-being. This role is available on a fixed-term contract for 1 year initially, working on a fulltime basis.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing one-on-one and small group support to children with additional needs.
- Helping create a positive and engaging classroom environment where all children can succeed.
- Supporting literacy, numeracy, and emotional development through structured activities.
- Assisting with behavior management to ensure a safe and nurturing learning space.
- Helping to plan and deliver engaging lessons in collaboration with teachers.
- Encouraging outdoor and nature-based learning as part of a holistic curriculum.
About You
- Be able to do the job as described.
- Passionate about early years and primary education, with a nurturing and patient approach.
- Experience working with children with additional needs (desired but not essential).
- A love for nature and outdoor learning, embracing a creative and hands-on teaching style.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with staff and families.
