Here at Long-Term Teachers we are working closely with an incredible Primary School in the SN2 area of Swindon. The school are seeking an Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team from January.

Your New Role

If successful for this role, you will be working closely with the Class Teacher to resource and adapt planning to provide the best learning activities for children with additional needs.

The Head Teacher is looking for someone who is proactive, energetic and committed to engage them in their own learning.

You will be expected to:

  • Strong positive behaviour management strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with Class Teachers across the school.
  • Be flexible and encouraging when working with this pupil.
  • Be adaptable with the child’s learning environment.
  • Communicate and observe personal and learning development.
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to feel comfortable.
