Teaching Assistant / SEN Teaching Support - SN25

My client, a welcoming and community-focused school, is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to provide classroom and one-on-one support for students, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assisting students to access the curriculum through tailored support in one-on-one, small group, or classroom settings.
  • Preparing and delivering engaging activities that support the emotional, physical, and educational development of pupils.
  • Collaborating with teachers and the SENDCo to plan and implement learning strategies.
  • Promoting positive behavior and resilience in line with school policies.
  • Providing feedback and input on pupils’ progress and developmental needs.

  • Be able to do the job as described.
  • Compassionate and adaptable, with the ability to support children with variable needs.
  • Skilled at fostering emotional well-being and self-confidence in pupils.
  • Experienced in working within an inclusive educational environment.
  • Confident in promoting safeguarding and upholding the welfare of children and young people.
