My client is looking for a committed Teaching Assistant to support children with behavioural needs in a Year 6 class. Help create a nurturing and encouraging atmosphere where every child can thrive. This position starts in September on a fixed-term contract until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of becoming permanent. Work mornings only, Monday to Friday, and contribute to a transformative educational experience.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting a teacher with managing the classroom and student behavior during morning sessions
- Ensuring children's safety and well-being by evaluating potential risks
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and taking initiative
- Applying knowledge of the KS2 curriculum in your daily activities
- Communicating clearly with both children and adults, orally and in writing
About You
- Be able to do the job as described
- Possess empathy, patience, and a caring nature, with insight into children's unique needs
- Have a solid understanding of sensory processing issues and communication challenges
- Excel at building meaningful relationships with children
- Adaptable and able to work both independently and within a team
