  • To conduct quality assurance activities in line with the IQA strategy, Awarding Organisation, ESFA / DfE and Ofsted requirements
  • Produce sampling plans based on risk and in line with the IQA strategy
  • Conduct observations of teaching, learning and assessment providing clear, constructive, supportive and timely feedback
  • Give clear, accurate and timely feedback to delivery staff, both verbally and written
  • Monitor feedback to ensure learners’ progress timely through their programme providing clear, constructive, supportive and timely feedback to delivery staff
  • Support delivery staff to create and implement action plans to ensure learners are actively engaged and enable learner progression
  • Share best practice and lead standardisation activities to enhance and develop the programme and ensure consistency of learner feedback and progression
  • Maintain and review staff CPD records and record details through a skills matrix system
  • Work closely with Team Leaders to develop on-going development plans for staff
  • Deliver training, mentoring and support to delivery staff
  • Deliver induction training to new staff
  • Maintain quality documentation
  • Ensure all supporting verification records are completed to the correct standard and within agreed timelines
  • Build effective working relationships with other teams across the contract, including delivery, business support and compliance and assurance
  • Follow all company policies and processes
  • Achieve key performance indicators
  • Maintain a Continuous Professional Development (CPD) record that reflects company and industry requirements
  • Promote the sharing of new and dynamic ideas across the contract
  • Ensure Security, Health and Safety, Environmental, Legal, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion and Welfare & Safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times within all areas of responsibility
  • Support the contract in line with the corporate governance policies, processes and procedures including those relating to Health and Safety
  • Other appropriate tasks that may be required

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment
  • Processes and Practice (or equivalent)
  • Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (or equivalent)
  • Award / Certificate in Education & Training (or equivalent)
  • Maths and English – GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent)
