We are partnering with a leading facilities and corporate real estate management company to recruit a skilled Electrician to join their expanding team in Swindon.
Role Summary:
As an Electrician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs across various systems in the retail outlet. Your duties will include:
- React to breakdown maintenance requests within the required SLA’s
- Technical awareness of computer room/call centre/trader operations and experience of power, UPS, CPS, distribution, cooling etc
- Test and diagnose power quality issues
- Understand and interpret technical drawings / instructions / processes & O&M’s
- Monitor and analyse environmental conditions, review the loading/working conditions of critical equipment regularly
- Determine the root cause and action items required to restore availability and prevent a recurrence
The successful candidate will be a multi-skilled electrician who is proficient in various disciplines, capable of handling a range of maintenance and repairs on-site. Their responsibilities include performing inspections, diagnosing and fixing equipment issues, conducting repairs across different systems, and ensuring smooth operations on site.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- Flexible working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
- On-call schedule (1 in 4 weeks)

Qualifications & Experience
- 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations
- Experience working with building management systems including fault finding and operator use
- Facilities Management (FM) experience is advantageous
- Health & Safety qualifications (e.g., IOSH or NEBOSH) desirable
