Electrical Maintenance Engineer | Mobile - South West Region | 37K-40K + 4.5 Salary Allowance+ paid overtime, company van + package | Commercial Building Services / Maintenance.
Are you a qualified Electrician? Do you have experience working within commercial environments? Do you have experience carrying out planned and preventative maintenance?
We are currently seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Electrician to work on a mobile basis between the following locations, you would be expected to visit each site at least every 2 weeks, this role is Monday - Friday, 08:00am - 5:00pm and this is inclusive of your travelling time:Devizes, Bristol, Portsmouth, Plymouth.
Package: What is in it for you?
- Basic Salary: 37,000 - 40,000 per annum
- Up to 6,000 per annum in additional salary allowances (1,500 per AP status).
- Paid overtime available at x1.5 - x2 rate.
- Call out 1 in 4 weeks (not including Plymouth). 125 per week standby + minimum 4 hours if called out. Sites are un-staffed overnight and call outs in the evening are rare.
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00am - 5:00pm - inclusive of travelling time.

Duties:
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPMs)
- Reactive maintenance / fault finding
- Electrical systems - lighting (lamps, ballasts, emergency lighting, security lighting, safety lighting), power distribution, transformers, wiring, motors, electrical components on HVAC / Plant equipment, LV switching etc.
- HVAC - coil cleans, filter cleans,filter changes, electrical components and 1st line faults to AHUs, FCUs, split / multi split units, BMS monitoring etc.
- General building fabric duties when required.
Requirements:
- Must be a qualified Electrician to city and guilds level 3 standard or equivalent.
- Must have experience within a maintenance role within a commercial environment.
- Able to legally work and drive in the UK.
