The Facilities Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the organisation's facilities. This position involves coordinating day-to-day activities related to building services, maintenance, repairs, safety, and compliance. The ideal candidate will act as a point of contact for employees and contractors, ensuring that the workplace is functional, safe, and well-maintained.

 

Responsibilities for the Facilities Engineer 

  • Oversee the routine maintenance of the building, equipment, and systems.
  • Coordinate and schedule repairs, preventive maintenance, and regular inspections.
  • Manage facility cleaning services, ensuring cleanliness and tidiness of the office space.
  • Record documentation from a risk assessment perspective that is in line with company regulations.

 

To qualify for the Facilities Engineer, you will need:

  • Experience in a Manufacturing environment
  • Previous HVAC experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to prioritise and resolve issues.
  • Proactive nature, with the willingness to take on tasks.
