M4 Recruitment are currently looking for a Semi Skilled Production Operative to work for one of our manufacturing clients, based in the outskirts of Swindon.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday 0730am-1700pm and Friday 0730am - 1300pm.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Be involved with production work to achieve the project quality standards and timescales
- Follow drawings for cutting and drilling details
- Experience using a chop saw for timber cutting
- Experience in routering, pillar drill and general wood work machinery and hand toolds
- Assembling of products
- Ensure all work is carried out to the standards and requirements of the company’s ISO9001 quality management systems
- Assist the team in implementing workshop instructions
- Quality Control
- Assist in completing paperwork
- Assist In keeping the workshop and yard in a tidy and safe condition
Beneficial to have:
- Experience in working from construction drawings
- Technical knowledge of furniture construction techniques and woodworking machinery
