£95,000pa plus 20% bonus
Swindon
A successful owner managed business with a t/o of circa £30m are seeking a CFO to join their team on a permanent basis to support the CEO, leading the finance function to success and effectively contribute to business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrating all acquisitions into the business, including financial management and reporting
- Lead all financial planning, reporting and analysis for the business
- Lead the finance team, 12 people in total, with 3 people reporting directly to you
- Producing the annual budget for each company within the group and producing forecasts
- Ensuring production of monthly management accounts and financial information
- Establishing appropriate systems for managing and reporting cashflow to maximise liquidity and minimise risk
- Overseeing annual audit
- Strategic business planning including acquisitions
- Commercial support for negotiations for discussions with clients, suppliers and partners
- Continuous improvement of processes
The ideal candidate will have the following skills, experience and attributes:
- Highly experienced and proven track record of working within a senior finance leadership position
- Qualified - CIMA/ ACA/ ACCA
- Experience in acquisitions
- Excellent group financial reporting experience
- Previous people management experience
- Experience in a similar sized SME - experience of travel, hospitality or events would be highly advantageous
In return you will receive:
- Salary of £95,000pa with a 20% discretionary bonus
- Working hours of 9am-5.30pm, based onsite just outside of Swindon - this role may require some travel due to the nature of the business so candidates must be flexible if wanting to be considered for the role
