This is an exciting role for someone who is looking to take the next step within their accountancy career and who thrives on helping clients towards their business and individual success. This is more than just being on hand on answer clients' questions but to challenge thinking, create new opportunities and avoid negative risks for clients.

What does the role entail?

  • Assisting with the onboarding of new clients to ensure that they have a friendly contact and gets them off on the right step to excellent support.
  • Building deep, long standing relationships with your clients.
  • Working with the wider team to ensure plans are implemented.
  • Look for opportunities with clients to improve processes and business opportunities.
  • Working alongside the professional support network alongside clients to help the client achieve their rounded business and future goals, supporting your clients as a business partner. This may include fellow professionals such as financial advisors, mortgage brokers, business coaches etc.
  • Reviewing of financial information with clients but using in a way which focuses on both tax management/planning as well as future growth opportunities.
  • Building robust forecasting models and challenging clients to use this and interact as the business grows and develop.

As you can tell, this role is much more than just crunching numbers!It's a given you would be good at that bit but this is more about the well rounded approach to help their business and individual clients get the most from the support they offer.

Who are they looking for?

  • Previous experience within Practice.
  • Someone with a passion for business in support of their accountancy qualifications.
  • Ideally be fully chartered (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) or qualified by experience.
  • Detailed experience of preparing and being involved in the review of both personal and business accounts and tax planning.
  • An eagerness to do more than just "crunch the numbers".
  • Someone who loves working with the wider team in delivering results.
