Candidates must be immediately available or able to start at short notice in October, with a hybrid working arrangement of three days in the office.

Description

The key responsibilities within this role:

The ability to paint a picture around the financials which is easily understood by a varied population of stakeholders.
Develop and articulate a clear understanding of the business KPI's with the ability to implement ways to improve them.
Deliver insightful analysis of results against target and the previous years results.
Improving the understanding of trends, risks and opportunities across the company
Monitor agreed strategic KPIs covering sales, profitability, and other metrics.
Partnering with different business units to ensure the financial results of the function are prepared and reported on time and accurately.
Work with stakeholders to review and challenge the weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual P&L performances.
Track and reforecast performance across multiple scenarios, to provide input to rolling forecasts.
Undertake ad hoc financial reviews, and commercial decision support.

Profile

The successful candidate for the role will possess:

A full and recognised accountancy qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with post-qualified experience
Previous post-qualified experience in a large and complex multi-site environment
Advanced Excel skills and understanding of data reporting systems.
Excellent analytical skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills. This role will present financials to various senior profiles in the business.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Job Offer

This role is paying a salary of £55,000-£65,000 (DOE). This is a hybrid working role and the expectation is to be office based 3 days a week. Any applicants need to be immediately available or available at short notice with the ability to start in October
