I am recruiting a Credit Control Manager for my client based in Swindon.

Reporting directly to the Group Finance Director, you will oversee all credit control processes for multiple businesses in the Group. A varied role including team management, implementing policies and procedures to improve cashflow and reduce bad debts whilst maintaining positive relationships with a diverse range of clients.

About the job:

  • Manage and lead the credit control team, providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Conduct credit checks on new and existing clients / determine credit limits within credit insurance policy constraints.
  • Liaise with various departments and managers, to ensure smooth credit control operations and manage escalated credit control issues and disputes.
  • Identify opportunities for process and systems improvements and implement best practices to enhance credit control efficiency.
  • Negotiate plans and settlements with clients to resolve outstanding debts.
