Finance Manager

£60,000 to £67,000 + 10% Bonus + Competitive Benefits

Hybrid 2 Days Office Based / 3 Days Home Based.

I am currently working in partnership with an ambitious company In Swindon (T/O £500m) to recruit a Finance Manager.

You will have a key role in the development and on-going maintenance of appropriate best-in-class process and controls within the Finance Team and the on-going development and maintenance of the Finance Function Manual. Reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting & Control, you will lead a small tenured finance team.

About the job:

  • Management of month end process across the team and ownership of key processes payroll, cash control culminating with the production of the month end report.
  • Maintain integrity & accuracy of balance sheet along with preparation and review of monthly reconciliations.
  • Develop and maintain strong and effective processes and controls driving continuous improvement across the department.
  • Maintenance and ownership of the Finance Function Manual & Finance Operating Procedures to ensure these are fit for purpose, complete and continuously improved.
  • Operational management of the Treasury function and banking systems
  • Oversight and support of the cash forecast model
  • Attendee of the Debt committee, providing updates on the provision and analysis of the movement.
  • Support the year end audit
  • Management and mentoring of team to support and encourage their development
