We are currently recruiting for an experienced Finance Manager for our client based in Royal Wootton Bassett.

Job title: Finance Manager

Salary: £35,000 - £36,000

Duration: Full-time Permanent Position (in the office everyday)

Location: Royal Wootton Bassett

You will be responsible for all financial matters including day to day processes, procurement, contracts, securing grants, running payroll, and transforming processes. With a keen focus on financial management, you will contribute to improving the business and demonstrate the organisations values and behaviours. This is a hands-on role to deliver robust financial support for the organisation.

Main Responsibilities:

Monthly management accounts and year end accounts
Budget and precept management
Internal and external audit
Investment management - to manage cash flow and to ensure effective investments are in place
Insurance Management - - to arrange all aspects of the insurance cover through appointed brokers including events, and process claims as necessary
VAT processing and management - to maintain and reconcile VAT on a quarterly basis and to submit VAT returns online
Bank account and accounts management
Purchase and Sales Ledger
Payroll management
Contracts, property and assets register management
Grants management and trust management
Improving and streaming financial processes when and where possible

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of management accounting, statutory accounting, forecasting, budgeting and ideally be a qualified or a part qualified accountant. Have at least 2 Years’ experience of financial management and be able to work in a fast passed environment. You should be proactive, reliable, thorough and have intermediate to advanced excel skills. Having the ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines is a necessity. Being a flexible individual and being open to change is beneficial.
