We are working with our Client to recruit for a Finance Manager on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for anyone who would like the opportunity to take on more responsibility and grow within a company.

Description

As a Finance Manager you will have a series of roles and responsibilities to adhere to including:

  • Monthly bank, debtors and creditors reconciliations
  • Oversee the invoice processing and facilitation of payments under CIS
  • Ensure that all company financial practices are in line with statutory financial regulations and legislation
  • Manage payroll administration such as holidays, absence and PAYE
  • Motivate staff with a creative and supportive nature
  • To deputise for the Financial Director in their absence, and attend necessary meetings when required
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Prepare and post monthly journals
  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly VAT

Profile

In order to be successful within this role you will need the following skills and attributes:

  • Experience within a financial management or management accounts role
  • A good knowledge of cost principles and practices
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good technical accounting skills and Excel proficiency
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships
  • Good problem solver
