Robert Half are recruiting a Group Financial Reporting Manager with a growing SME based in Swindon. This role will be pivotal in supporting the Head of Finance with all group reporting and will be the key contact for the auditors. We are looking for an ACA/ACCA qualified accountant, preferably from a top 10 accountancy firm.

The role

As a Group Financial Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the group's financial reporting processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and delivering high-quality financial reports to senior management and stakeholders. This role requires a strong technical accounting background preferably from audit with 2+ years experience in industry. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Consolidating group accounts and preparing financial statements.
  • Maintaining accounting controls in line with IFRS.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, managing the audit process and ensuring the timely resolution of audit queries.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of robust internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Coordinate the preparation and delivery of audit schedules and documentation.
  • Partner with the Finance Director and wider business.

Profile

  • Proven experience in a Financial Reporting or Audit Manager role.
  • Strong technical reporting knowledge (IFRS).
  • Qualified ACA/ACCA with 3+ years PQE.
  • Audit experience from a top 10 recognised firm.

Package:

  • £70,000 - £75,000 base salary.
  • Hybrid working with up to 2 days working from home.
