The CompanyWe currently working with an established business based in Wiltshire, who is seeking a Corporate Finance Associate to join them as a qualified trainee. You will join their fast-paced expanding business supporting delivering on deals, working as an advisor predominantly to owner managed businesses.The RoleThe role will be based out of their Wiltshire offices (with regular travel to meet clients) and requires an ambitious and driven individual to join this high performing team of M&A specialists. You will learn how to manage acquisitions, disposals, management buy outs and buy ins, along with fundraising for clients across all sectors. Mentored by a team of experienced professionals, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of deals in small but growing teams. This role will enable you to take part in initial client meetings and deal structuring, preparation of financial models, and the creation of business plans.The CandidateYou will be a Qualified Accountant, ACA , ACCA or CIMA, with a passion for delivering high quality results. You will need to display a passion for corporate finance & M&A, although you can come from both a practice and industry background as no prior corporate finance experience is necessaryYou must however be able to display the following attributes

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster client relationships, maintaining a strong confidentiality ethic
  • Proactive and positive with a strong team focus and collaborative approach
  • Establish a strong working relationship with colleagues with the highest level of professionalism and integrity
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Good eye for detail and problem solving skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
