Join a leading accounting and business advisory firm in Wiltshire, where traditional values meet innovative thinking. They are seeking a dynamic Personal Tax Manager to provide expert technical support and drive business growth within the private client team.

As a Personal Tax Manager, you'll be a key advisor to the HNW clients and trusts, providing comprehensive compliance and consultancy services. You'll work closely with partners and client service teams, developing the private client base through strategic business development and networking. This role offers a blend of compliance work, tax planning, and project involvement, providing a diverse and challenging workload. They are open to candidates based across several locations in the Wiltshire area.

Responsibilities:As a Personal Tax Manager, your role responsibilities will include:

Client Focus:

  • Manage a high-quality portfolio of HNW personal clients and trust structures.
  • Provide expert compliance and consultancy services.
  • Research complex tax issues and manage advisory assignments.
  • Ensure exceptional service and timely delivery.

Business Development:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and services.
  • Lead in providing additional services to existing clients.
  • Support marketing and networking activities.
  • Contribute to technical publications.

Leadership:

  • Implement policies and procedures effectively.
  • Manage team performance and development.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and support.
  • Monitor team targets and budgets.
  • Provide technical training.

Requirements:As a Personal Tax Manager, you will need:

  • Ideally ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or overseas equivalent.
  • Extensive knowledge of IHT, Trusts, CGT, residence, domicile, and family investment companies.
  • Proven experience advising HNW clients on wealth planning and personal tax.
  • Strong commercial acumen and business development skills.
  • Experience with international personal tax issues and offshore structures.
  • In-depth understanding of tax implications for landowners and rural businesses.
