Reed practice are working with a firm of established accountants based in Swindon. They are looking to add a portfolio manager to their experienced team. The ideal candidate will provide professional and efficient technical processing, support & advice on the collation and reporting of Accounts across a broad client base from sole traders to limited companies, ensuring adherence to deadlines and processing budgets.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparation & production of accounts from collation and processing to report and analysis.
- Ensure timely presentation of accounts within budget and to annual/periodic deadlines.
- Preparation of management accounts.
- Prepare corporation and personal tax computations.
- Conduct client review meetings and provide timely response to client requests for support & advice.
- Mentoring, training & supervision of employees including overseeing progress of delegated tasks.
- Development of internal procedures and workflow efficiencies.
Requirements:
- ACCA or ACA qualified.
- Accountancy practice experience essential
- Minimum 2 years post qualification experience
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Highly organised & able to work autonomously
- Ability to mentor junior members of staff
- Confident communicator – provide advice with regards to accounts
- Audit experience would be an advantage
