Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Accountancy Practice Manager to lead our team of accountants and support staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of accountants and support staff.
  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee the daily operations of the practice, including workflow management, resource allocation, and process improvement.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and manage the financial performance of the practice, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and laws.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the practice.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Full Accounting Qualification required (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA).
  • Experience: Significant experience of working within an accounting practice within a client facing role, with experience in a Senior/managerial role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
