An opportunity to be a Finance Business Partner for a private, international care company with a turnover of around £300m with over 70 sites around the UK. You will be in a truly commercial role, with zero management accounts production, supporting 20+ sites.

Main Duties:

As a Finance Business Partner, your main duties include:

  • Being a key financial support to the operational staff across the business
  • Streamlining operations to enhance financial performance.
  • Leading a team of three Finance Support Coordinators.
  • Overseeing the annual fee increase process and managing relationships with regional stakeholders.
  • Developing recovery plans for underperforming sites through regular visits and hands-on support to drive financial improvement.
  • Taking part in monthly Director Business Reviews, spearheading initiatives, and ensuring positive outcomes.
  • Strengthening the financial acumen of Regional Directors by advising on tenders and contract assessments.
  • Assisting in the regional budget planning process to align with strategic objectives.

Location / Office / Culture

The role is very flexible with the majority of the week working remotely and some weeks fully home-based and the company covers travel costs. The company has over 70 sites across the UK, and this role lets you manage more than 30 of them. The business is very flexible in its working patterns and due to the current ongoing growth offers great chances for progression.
