1st Line Engineer | Swindon

As a 1st Line Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for our workforce, providing top-notch technical support and ensuring their IT issues are resolved swiftly and efficiently. Your role will be crucial in maintaining our reputation for outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to and resolve technical support requests via phone, email, and chat.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Escalate complex problems to 2nd and 3rd line support teams when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
  • Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with clients.
  • Assist with the setup and configuration of new hardware and software.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with network troubleshooting and basic network configuration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive and positive attitude towards problem-solving.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but not essential.
