Job Title: Cover Supervisor (Secondary School)
Location: Swindon
Salary: £100 - 115 per day
Contract: Full-time, Term-time only
We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join a dynamic team at welcoming and thriving secondary school located in Swindon. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about working with young people and supporting their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring a productive and supportive learning environment.
- Deliver pre-set work to students, managing classroom behavior and maintaining high standards.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on students' progress and any issues that arise during lessons.
- Support the schools ethos and contribute to creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
- Assist with other school activities as required, including lunchtime and break duties.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to manage a classroom effectively and motivate students to stay on task.
- A calm and flexible approach to handling various situations.
- Previous experience in a school setting or working with young people is desirable, but not essential.
