Are you a Dermatology Specialist Registrar(SPr)-Swindon? Our client is a market leading and forward-thinking community healthcare services provider.

This provider support both primary and secondary care services, ensuring a seamless and delivery of Dermatology, ENT and Audiology provision to patients that have been referred from GP services and or NHS Trusts.

Job Title: Dermatology Specialist Registrar(SPr)-SwindonDepartment: Community DermatologyDays: Monday-Friday (full-time ongoing)Hours: 9am-6pmRate: £70 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert dermatological care to adult patients in the community, including new patient consultations, follow-ups, and treatment plans.
  • Diagnose and manage various skin conditions, such as eczema, psoriasis, acne, and skin infections, ensuring a high standard of care.
  • Perform minor dermatological procedures, such as biopsies, cryotherapy, and excisions of benign skin lesions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care for patients referred from GP services or NHS Trusts.
  • Participate in clinical audits, research, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
  • Attend regular team meetings and contribute to shared decision-making to improve clinical practices and patient outcomes.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff and administrative teams to maintain efficient service delivery.

Candidate Requirements (Medical and Nursing):

  • Qualifications: Fully registered Doctor with relevant qualifications in Dermatology. Must hold full GMC registration.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in diagnosing and treating dermatological conditions within a UK medical setting. Experience in both primary and secondary care is advantageous.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work empathetically with patients. Must be able to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Compliance: Up-to-date with mandatory training, including safeguarding, infection control, and other essential healthcare certifications.
  • Professionalism: A commitment to providing evidence-based, patient-centered care and engaging in continuous professional development.
