Ecommerce Product Merchandiser

This is a fully office-based role in Swindon so you must live within a daily commutable distance.

My client is a leading online ecommerce furniture retailer, seeking a Product Merchandiser with a passion for home interiors and home furnishings. This mid-level role is pivotal in enhancing their online presence by ensuring their products are displayed attractively and effectively on their website.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Strategically determine the placement of products on the website to maximise visibility and sales.
  • Collaborate with outsourced CGI renderers to obtain high-quality imagery for product presentation.
  • Review and assess CGI imagery to ensure scenes accurately and attractively represent their furniture products.
  • Manage and organise all product imagery assets, ensuring they are up-to-date and accurately reflect their product offerings.
  • Liaise with design and marketing teams to align product imagery with overall brand strategy and marketing campaigns.
  • Communicate with senior stakeholders to ensure product imagery meets business objectives and standards.
  • Upload and maintain product images on the ecommerce site, ensuring they are correctly displayed and categorised.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A strong passion for home interiors, furnishings or even home renovations.
  • Background in ecommerce, design, online merchandising, or visual merchandising.
  • Experience working with CGI renders and assessing product imagery.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in ecommerce platforms and content management systems.
