Finance Assistant

Our client, a prestigious automotive dealership based in the Southwest has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join their amazing team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Offer system support for our Employee Management System including system development
  • Reporting
  • Support day-to-day Payroll activity including starters, leavers, transfers and variations, sickness and bonuses
  • Support annual payroll activities such as audits, P60’s and P11d’s
  • Line Manage Finance Apprentice
  • Support business projects

Key skills/ experience:

  • 2 years or more of experience in a Payroll Accounts position
  • Experience in the Motor Trade is preferred
  • Experience with Natural HR / Moorepay system would be beneficial
  • In depth experience of Microsoft Excel for reporting
  • Problem solving skills with the ability to apply logical and critical thinking to develop effective solutions to issues
  • Confidence with systems and supporting end users,
  • Seeks ways to improve processes
  • Experience of line management would be beneficial in this role
