We are seeking a Head of Finance Business Partnering to support the CFO and drive the business towards achieving its growth ambitions. This role involves leading finance business partnering in operations and growth areas, coaching and developing business partners, and leading the formulation of financial plans and budgets.
Day-to-day of the role:- Lead on commercial decision-making for the business, including pricing, costing, and business case development.
- Lead the formulation of the 3-year business plan, annual budget, and quarterly forecasts, presenting these to the Board and Executive.
- Manage 4 direct reports.
- Own the presentation of management accounts and the monthly CFO report, including P&L summaries to the Board and Executive, with supporting commentary and supplementary analysis.
- Lead the Investment Committee process at the Executive Team level, ensuring all investments are supported with a clear business case.
- Attend steering committees for major projects, ensuring decisions drive incremental profit and value creation.
- Provide leadership to the Finance Business Partners and Business Reporting Manager, ensuring high standards of support are provided to functional teams with consistency and accuracy.
- Strong commercial business acumen with a proven track record of successfully driving growth agendas.
- Experience working in a cross-functional environment where decision-making processes are embryonic.
- Trusted to advise and business partner with senior leadership (Board and Executive).
- Skilled in presenting historical and forward-looking financial analysis and information at Board level.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence, capable of effectively consulting with the CFO, coaching and mentoring direct reports, and influencing and engaging peers and senior executives.
