Role: Scrum MasterLocation: Shrivenham (Hybrid - 3 Days In-Office)Salary: £45,000 - £52,500We are seeking a Scrum Master to join our client’s DevOps Engineering team. This hybrid position offers the opportunity to facilitate agile practices and drive high-performing teams toward successful project delivery while working three days a week from our Shrivenham office.Candidates must either hold SC clearance or be eligible to obtain SC clearance.Role OverviewAs a Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in enabling teams to deliver quality products efficiently while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. You will work closely with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Serve as a leader to the wider team, removing impediments and enabling team focus.
  • Coach teams on Agile principles and foster self-organization.
  • Support the Product Owner in maintaining a well-groomed backlog.
  • Monitor team performance using Agile metrics (velocity, burn-down charts, cycle time).
  • Promote accountability, adaptability, and transparency.
  • Identify and escalate risks and blockers.
  • Advocate for agile best practices and organizational adoption.
Requirements
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
  • 2+ years of experience in an Agile environment.
  • Proficiency with Agile tools (Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps).
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills.
  • Familiarity with UK Government projects is advantageous.
  • Must either be SC or be eligible for SC.
