TECHNICAL SALES ADVISOR

LOCATION: Swindon

SALARY: £23,000 + Bonus

JOB TYPE: Permanent Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm

Role Purpose

The Technical Sales Advisor is responsible for generating quotations and drawings from customer enquiries. You will be self-motivated, organised with the ability to adapt to change and prioritise to suit ever changing demands in a relaxed, and professional office environment.

Job Duties

  • Handling customer enquiries via email and telephone in a timely and professional manner.
  • Open quotation management including project reviews and quote chasing to ensure we maximise all business opportunities.
  • Accountable for logging all enquiries, quotes and orders on to the CRM in house database.
  • Responsible from producing and pricing quotations on a range of products using ab in-house drawing package referencing from DWG and supplied customer drawings and enquiries.
  • Maintaining good relationships with customers.
  • Providing technical support to our customer base within an acceptable timeframe.
  • Assisting customers with general information updates regarding their orders or enquiries.
  • Using a range of office software, including email, spreadsheets and databases.
  • Handling personal data in accordance with the organisations data protection policy.
  • Taking on other responsibilities or tasks whenever reasonably instructed or required.

Experience Required

  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel
  • Attention to detail
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads
  • A problem-solving approach to work
  • AutoCAD experience would be a bonus
  • Full training will be given on all our software and procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Good team player with flexible and helpful attitude
  • A positive individual with a ‘Can do’ results driven approach and attitude
  • Demonstrates trust, openness and respects in dealing with people
  • Good teamworking skills and the confidence to lead and motivate a team
