Domestic Gas Engineer / Installer
Basic Salary up to 39k-41k (depending on experience) + Company Van + Pension + Benefits + Overtime

Alecto Recruitment Ltd currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Gas Installer to join an established Plumbing, Heating and Gas organisastion based in the Swindon area.
Our client offer a range of mechanical, gas and plumbing services, both domestic and commercial services and including renewable energy solutions such as ground and air source heat pumps.
Your role will involve working in a mobile position, mainly covering surrounding areas of Swindon such as, Wiltshire, M4 Corridor, Cotswolds, some of Oxfordshire etc.
Job Summary:
- Working as a mobile gas / heating installation engineer, you'll be responsible for mainly the installation of boiler and heating systems to domestic homeowners.
- Full system installations, hot cylinder installations etc.
- Our client can also offer a mixed position with service/repair work as well and if you prefer a variety of work.
- Good opportunity to gain experience in renewable energy products, as the role will also involve installing and working on domestic air source heat pumps.
- Plus potential opportunity to upskill as you progress into areas like commercial gas etc.
- Full time and fully employed position, with a company van, pension and benefits.
- Opportunity for overtime.
Key Skills and Experience Required:
- MUST hold relevant acs domestic gas certificates such as; - CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1 etc.
- Have a proven background as a domestic gas engineer, ideally with a focus on installation works, s plans, y plans etc.
- Some plumbing experience, or NVQ qualified desired but not essential.
