People Group are looking to recruit a Streetworks Coordinator from a Water background to work for aleading service provider in the water and wastewater infrastructure sectors in the UK.

Position:Streetworks Coordinator
Rate: 20 per hour (Inside IR35)
Location: Thames Valley - Swindon
Duration: 5 months
Work Arrangements: 3 days in office & 2 days from home

Responsibilities:
  • Nurturingrelationships with the Client, Highway Authorities and other stakeholders with regards to NRSWA compliance and practical applications of processes.
  • Ensure all relevant application forms and consents are complete and populated correctly in a timely manner (Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders, Traffic Light Applications etc)
  • Work alongside Operational managers and teams to manage and escalate any potential issues (Location of jobs, permit conditions, ongoing works, avoidable costs)
  • Submit all permits within the required timescale.
  • Works start/Stop all permits within required timescale
  • Manage all works comments on receipt and respond with correct information
  • Take proactive action when notices are at risk, liaising with local Councils where appropriate to agree extensions or alternative measures
