In the role of Human Resources Assistant, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Preparing and issuing new starter documentation, conducting right-to-work and reference checks.
  • Managing confidential personnel records and updating HR and training databases.
  • Coordinating recruitment activities, including posting job adverts and screening candidates.
  • Supporting the onboarding process and managing the probation and leaver processes.
  • Acting as the central point of contact for employee compensation and benefits queries.

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • CIPD Level 3 qualification (or working towards it).
  • Experience in an HR environment with a good understanding of HR functions and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • A solutions-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills and a high level of confidentiality.

The Role: This is a varied role where you will be supporting the HR team with essential administrative tasks across the entire employee lifecycle. You will have the chance to work closely with managers, ensuring that HR operations run smoothly and efficiently, while also being involved in exciting projects that drive the HR strategy forward. Your ability to communicate effectively and adapt to different situations will be key to your success in this role.

The role is office-based and working 27.5 hours a week, ideally split across 5 days Monday – Friday, working 5.5 hours a day.
