Lead Embedded Software Engineer - Wiltshire - Salary - up to £70,000 + 10% Bonus + Benefits - Ref 1832

I am currently recruiting for a Lead Embedded Software Engineer to work for a leading engineering organisation based in Wiltshire. Salary up to £70,000 + 10% Bonus + Benefits.

The organisation has been in operation for over 30 years employ close to 70 people. They are experts within the sector that they operate within and have a highly qualified team who work on delivering bespoke and customisable solutions to their end clients across multiple sectors. Due to the variation within the products and solutions they offer the work is very varied and whilst they do offer off the shelf products the bulk of the work they do is bespoke and tailored to their clients needs.


To support the growth of the business they now have the need to appoint a Lead Embedded Software Engineer on a permanent basis.


In this role as a Lead Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing Embedded software for a range new products the company is looking to launch, but also will be expected to support some of the companies legacy products and therefore the code base with it, some still in operation 30 years later. You will be working in a multi-disciplined team of engineers and therefore will be liaising with people of varying technical understanding and expertise.

Essential Requirements:

- At least 7 years' experience as an Embedded Software Engineer, Firmware Engineer or similar
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Experienced working within a TDD (test driven environment) or BDD (behaviour driven environment)
