Helpdesk Administrator

Swindon, Wiltshire

37.5 Hours per week - 8 hour shift between the hours of 0700-1700

Storm Recruitment is excited to present an amazing opportunity for a Helpdesk Administrator to join our client’s dynamic team based in Swindon, Wiltshire. This role plays a crucial part in a high-profile education sector contract where you'll be the go-to person for all hard and soft service inquiries. If you have a background in general administration and possess strong IT skills, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support delivery of planned and reactive maintenance services.
  • Handle direct requests via phone and email professionally.
  • Monitor feedback from site operatives to ensure top-notch customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in administration of sub-contractors and suppliers.
  • Collaborate within a small team to meet shared objectives.
  • Greet and host visitors to the site ensure their visits run smoothly.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the contract.
  • Raise purchase orders and manage invoicing processes.
  • Compile information for monthly reports from various service lines.
  • Carry out additional tasks as requested to support the team.
Profile of a Successful Candidate:
  • Proven experience in a similar administrative role.
  • Ability to work and prioritize under pressure.
  • Good understanding of PFI contracts (an advantage).
  • Experience in monitoring contractual SLA’s and KPI’s.
  • Excellent IT skills with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Good verbal and written English communication.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to continual improvement.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
