A new opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join this well-established organisation based in Swindon. Initially based on a 12-month fixed term contract, there is a strong chance of a permanent offer of employment. Ideally seeking a candidate with a degree in either Computer Science or a relative field (or equivalent), plus PRINCE2 Practitioner, AGIL and/or Scrum Master certification. This role is offered on a hybrid working model, 3 days office and 2 days home based.Â
This employer seeks a candidate who can evidence a minimum of 3 years of previous project management expertise, someone who can manage multiple complex projects, implementing strategic solutions to meet the wider objectives of a highly focused product team. Collaborating with multiple stakeholders calls for an experienced, resourceful, and organised individual who can demonstrate previous project management success gained in a similar environment. Although not exhaustive, there are a number of critical requirements including the ability to coordinate and manage the delivery of projects against tight deadlines, ensuring that stakeholders are fully engaged in the projects whilst retaining a keen eye on budget and quality of project delivery.Â
As a Project Manager, we are keen to receive applications from candidates who can evidence project delivery against new investment returns and new product ranges, someone who can contribute ideas and feedback to the ongoing project review stages, and able to plan and schedule project deliverables, goals, and key objectives. You will create and maintain key project plans, communicating tasks across the organisation, and project timelines, whilst creating strategies for risk mitigation. This is a hugely collaborative role; therefore, you will need to possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and have advanced working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint).Â
There is a need to produce complex reports and presenting to the key business stakeholders during the lifecycle of each project, working with internal and external suppliers and end-users, making project decisions, and acting as the initial point of contact for the delivery of all projects. For this position, we seek expert knowledge of all project management principles, PMO methods and techniques including the relevant PM tools.Â
