Monday to Wednesday: 07:30 - 17:30

Thursday: 07:30 - 17:00

Friday: Off

Job Description:

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and detail-oriented Goods in Inspection, Stores & Despatch Assistant to join our client's dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our goods handling processes, from the moment they arrive to the point of despatch. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks aimed at maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency.

Main Responsibilities:

Inspect Incoming Deliveries: Verify the accuracy and quality of incoming deliveries, ensuring they meet our stringent standards.

Receipt and Delivery Management: Maintain an accurate and efficient process for the receipt and delivery of goods into and out of the company.

Stock Picking: Pick stock in a timely manner to support the Manufacturing team, ensuring they have the materials they need to meet production schedules.

Packing and Despatch: Pack goods ready for despatch, process despatch information, and ensure all shipments are handled with care and precision.

Paperwork and Administration: Organise and complete all necessary paperwork, administering it onto our business software systems to keep records up-to-date and accurate.

Business Software Utilisation: Use our business software systems effectively to manage inventory, track shipments, and maintain records.

Stock Takes: Conduct frequent stock takes to ensure inventory accuracy and identify any discrepancies promptly.

Job Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure the accuracy and quality of all goods handled.

Experience with Drawings and Documentation: Ability to work with technical drawings and documentation to verify product specifications.

Proactive and Independent: A proactive individual who can use their own initiative when working alone and is also comfortable working in a small team environment.

Enthusiastic and Motivated: A positive attitude and enthusiasm for the role, with a willingness to learn and adapt.

Relevant Experience: Previous experience in a similar environment or stores background is essential. Experience in the electrical field would be a bonus.

Computer Literacy: Proficiency in using computer systems and business software to manage inventory and process shipments.
