As a Design Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons to students of all abilities, helping them develop both practical skills and a deeper understanding of design concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Design Technology lessons that inspire and engage students.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and builds confidence.
- Design and implement dynamic lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Actively contribute to the development of the Design Technology department and the wider school community.
Who We're Looking For:
- A fully qualified Design Technology Teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience in teaching KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of Design Technology concepts, including both practical and theoretical aspects.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging learning atmosphere.
- A passion for motivating and inspiring students to unlock their creative potential and develop their technical skills.
