Pertemps Swindon are currently looking for a Field Service Engineers to join our prestigious client based in Swindon.This is a permanent position.Salary: £36400-£38480 per annum (£17.50 to £18.50 per hour) DOEMonday to Friday 08:00-16:30Weekend work is available when demand allows.Generous Overtime rate (16:30 onwards): 1.5rate for first 4 hours and 2.0rate thereafterCall out rate: £50.00 plus overtime rateGeneral duties:
  • Service, repair and maintain plant equipment to maintain machine safety
  • Complete report of work along with photographs in depth derails
  • Diagnose and rectify various faults prior to initiating repair
  • Ordering parts accurately with parts department
  • Complete risk assessment
Ideal candidate:
  • Relevant qualifications like City and Guild, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Experience in construction plant, hydraulics, diesel engines fault finding
  • Knowledge of variety of machinery
  • Great communication skills
  • Team player
  • Great IT skills
  • Hold full driving licence
