Pertemps Swindon is seeking Field Service Engineers for a permanent position in Swindon.
The salary for this role ranges from £36,400 to £38,480 per annum, equivalent to £17.50 to £18.50 per hour, depending on experience.
Candidates should have relevant qualifications, such as City and Guild or NVQ Level 3, and experience in construction plant, hydraulics, and diesel engine fault finding.
The role involves servicing, repairing, and maintaining plant equipment, and requires good communication and IT skills, along with a full driving license.
Weekend work is available, and the position offers a generous overtime rate, with a call-out rate of £50 plus overtime.

Pertemps Swindon are currently looking for a Field Service Engineers to join our prestigious client based in Swindon.This is a permanent position.Salary: £36400-£38480 per annum (£17.50 to £18.50 per hour) DOEMonday to Friday 08:00-16:30Weekend work is available when demand allows.Generous Overtime rate (16:30 onwards): 1.5rate for first 4 hours and 2.0rate thereafterCall out rate: £50.00 plus overtime rateGeneral duties:

Service, repair and maintain plant equipment to maintain machine safety
Complete report of work along with photographs in depth derails
Diagnose and rectify various faults prior to initiating repair
Ordering parts accurately with parts department
Complete risk assessment

Ideal candidate:

Relevant qualifications like City and Guild, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
Experience in construction plant, hydraulics, diesel engines fault finding
Knowledge of variety of machinery
Great communication skills
Team player
Great IT skills
Hold full driving licence
