They are looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join their team in Swindon on a permanent basis.The Stores/Warehouse Assistant will ideally have the following attributes:
  • Experienced working in a Warehouse / Stores environment
  • Must have counterbalance experience
  • Forklift experience would also be beneficial but not required
  • Knowledge of MS Office packages and strong computer skills
  • Excellent organisation
  • Knowledge of handling/shipping/storing dangerous goods
The Stores/Warehouse Assistant role will involve:
  • Managing stock levels
  • Booking in parts and purchase orders
  • Basic inspection of parts to confirm finish (training can be provided)
  • Manual handling of goods/parts
  • Picking jobs from BOMs list
  • Controlling the stores area
  • Arranging transport and shipping for goods
