Location: Lydiard Fields, Swindon

Salary: 13.22 per hour

Office hours: 37.5 hours per week

Shift Pattern: 8:30 - 17:00

Contract Length: 6 months contract

A multinational British speciality chemicals and sustainable tech company are looking for a Warehouse Technician to join their leading plant in Swindon. Previous warehouse and FLT experience is required.

Duties include:

  • Accurate control of stock and the subsequent movements (Goods in through to Despatch) within the Planning & Logistics area material locations, (as defined by the SAP location list) in order to support Production and the company requirements on a daily basis.
  • Personally accountable for completing their day to day activities in accordance with training, skills & standards.
  • Preparation of materials in order to meet the production schedule.
  • Receipt of non-inventory goods & despatch of non-sale goods as required.
  • Cycle counting of inventory to ensure accuracy and re-order points for Production consumables.
  • Maintain the throughput of our refining waste streams from Production to collection
  • Adhere to site and department (forklift checks and rack inspections) EHS standards and apply a duty of care at all times.
  • Maintenance and adherence to department risk assessments.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in inventory control and warehousing in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Competent and & experienced Counterbalance Forklift Truck & EPT Operator.
  • Computer literate, particularly Excel
  • Excellent data entry and accuracy
  • SAP experience would be desirable
