Trainee Plant Mechanic, Field Service

Location: Swindon & Surrounding Area

Salary: Up to £38k Basic (DOE), realistic £45k+ OTE + great benefits listed below:

Our Client is a market leading company within the Plant & Agricultural sector. They are looking for candidates who could be from the following industries with solid transferable skills:

  • Forklift or HGV’s
  • Cranes or Municipal Vehicle’s
  • Generators
  • Ground Support Equipment
  • Armed Forces - e.g. REME

You’ll receive first class ENHANCED initial and on-going training to enable you to do your job well. Based in the field you will look after customers in your region. Things you’ll be doing include:

  • Servicing, maintaining & reactive breakdowns of Plant Machinery.
  • Diagnosing electrical, mechanical & hydraulic faults.

There are a couple of things you’ll need to have for this role:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • NVQ Level 2 or Equivalent in relevant engineering area would be an advantage.
  • A Can-Do attitude with strong work ethic.
  • A good customer focused approach to your work.
