Town Planner - Swindon

Are you a skilled and ambitious Town Planner looking for your next career move? We are working with a well-established and highly respected planning consultancy that is seeking a talented professional to join their dynamic team.

The Role

As a Town Planner, you will be responsible for delivering expert planning advice across a range of sectors. You will be involved in preparing planning applications, engaging with stakeholders, and managing projects from inception to completion. This role offers exposure to a variety of developments, including residential, commercial, and strategic land planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals

  • Advising clients on planning policy and development strategies

  • Conducting site appraisals and feasibility studies

  • Engaging with local authorities, stakeholders, and the public

  • Managing multiple projects within deadlines

What We're Looking For:
  • A degree in Town Planning or a related field

  • MRTPI qualification (or working towards it)

  • Strong understanding of UK planning regulations

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
